Ruth was the Daughter of the late James Couch and the late Cassie Hoskins Couch. By occupation Ruth was a Care Taker for Home Health. Ruth resided in Laurel County for the majority of her life. She was affiliated with the Holiness Church and enjoyed UK Athletics and flower gardening. She is Preceded in Death by: Parents: James & Cassie Hoskins Couch; Brothers: Pearl and Robert. Ruth Couch Rice leaves the following relatives surviving: Companion of 17 1/2 Years: James Mills; Sons: Andy Rice & Alice of Sextons Creek, KY., James Rice & Tammy of London, KY. and Joe Rice of London, KY.; Brothers: Wilkie Couch & Katie of London, KY., Stevie Couch & Mary of TX., Homer Couch of IN., Roy Couch of IN., Raymond Couch of IN. and Herman Bellamy of IN.; Sisters: Eva Coots & Malcom of Smilax, KY., Annie Fleener & Russell of TX., Stella Couch of IN. and Katherine Couch of FL.; Grandchildren: Andrew Rice, Dustin Rice, Hailey Grace Rice, Dalton Partin and Nathan Eli Perkins. Funeral services for Ruth Couch Rice will be conducted on Friday ~ Dec. 30, 2011 at 12:00 Noon at Bob Fork Holiness Church with Rev. Jerry Holland and Rev. Ted Couch officiating. Burial will follow in the Couch's Fork Cemetery ~ Bear Branch, KY. The following will serve as Pallbearers: Don Pennington, Mike Gambrel, Justin Gambrel, William Hicks, John Hicks, Brian Estep, Charlie Jackson and Steven Couch.
