Watts was born on December 18, 1960 in Hazard, KY. and passed away on Saturday, January 26, 2013. Jerry was residing in Slemp, KY. and was 52 years of age at the time of his passing. He was the Son of Ruby Cornett Watts and the late John W. Watts. Jerry was the Husband of Deborah Coots Watts. By occupation Jerry was a Welder for T&T Energy, LLC. He was a lifelong resident of Perry County (Slemp, KY.) and was of the Old Regular Baptist Faith. Jerry enjoyed hunting, fishing, ginsenging and shooting as hobbies. He was Preceded in Death by his Father: John Watts. Jerry leaves the following relatives surviving: Mother: Ruby Cornett Watts of Slemp, KY.; Wife: Deborah Coots Watts of Slemp, KY.; Daughter: Amanda Lynnette Watts of Slemp, KY.; Brother: Nick Watts & Sharon of Mt. Sterling, KY.; Sister: Diana Lynn Watts Kalisz & Richard of Copperopolis, California; Brother-In-Law: Jack Coots & Carolyn of Slemp, KY.; A host of treasured nieces & nephews also survive. Funeral services for Mr. Jerry A. Watts will be conducted on Wednesday ~ January 30, 2013 at 2:00 P.M. at the Big Leatherwood Old Regular Baptist Church in Cornettsville, KY. with Rev. Danny Dixon, Rev. Scott Halcomb and Rev. Squire Watts officiating. Burial will follow in the Joe Cornett Cemetery in Slemp, KY. The following will serve as Pallbearers: Tony Hamilton, Michael Brewer, Rod Couch, J.T. Elsea, Nick Watts, Rick Kalisz, Nicholas Watts, Derek Coots, Jack Coots and Mike Cornett.
