The obituary of Mr. Bobby Ray Coots Officiating Ministers: Rev. Billy Joe Lewis Rev. Donald Kilburn Mr. Bobby Ray Coots born July 30, 1960 departed this life on January 9, 2011 at the Hazard Appalachian Regional Hospital at the age of 50 years old. He was born at Hyden, Kentucky the son of late Melvin Coots and Helen Lewis Hensley. By occupation he was a coal miner and had been a life-long resident of Leslie County. Bobby enjoyed fishing, hunting and spending time with his family. Mr. Bobby Ray Coots was a member of the Church of Christ. He was preceded in death by his father: Melvin Coots; one sister: Wilma Jean Coots. He leaves surviving the following relatives: mother and step-father: Helen and Charles Hensley of Wooton, Ky; son: Justin Scott Coots of Wooton, Ky., one grandson,three sisters: Marlene Miller & Hargis of Hazard, KY, Teresa Deaton & James Burton of Hyden, KY, Anna Coots Causey of Wooton, KY; two step-brothers: Charles Hoskins of Hazard, KY, Christopher Hoskins of Hazard, KY; two aunts: Alpha Simpson of Wooton, KY, Susie Carmack of Wooton, KY; two nephews: Michael Ray Coots, Felix Dale Causey; one niece: April Marie Everman. Mr. Bobby Ray Coots is also survived by a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral services for Mr. Bobby Ray Coots will be conducted at 1:00 p.m.-Thursday, January 13, 2011 at the Dwayne Walker Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Billy Joe Lewis and Rev. Donald Kilburn officiating. Burial will follow in the Day Cemetery located at Wooton, KY. Friends may call for visitation at 6:00 p.m. Wednesday, January 12, 2011 at the funeral home chapel.
