Mr. Roger Anthony Bowling, Sr. was born on August 19, 1965 and departed this life on August 03, 2008 at the age of 42 years, 0 months, and 16 days. He was a resident of Dayton, OH for the past 30 years. He was the son of the late Paul Bowling and the late Lillian Marie Fields. Some of his hobbies included listening to music, watching U.K. sports, and playing cards. He was preceded in death by his parents, and one brother: Timothy. Mr. Roger Bowling, Sr. leaves surviving the following relatives: one son: Roger Anthony Bowling, Jr. of Dayton, OH; three brothers: Jimmy Bowling & Jackie of Kettering, OH, Harold Bowling & Pamela of Morraine City, OH, and David Bowling & Zelma of Hyden, KY.; three sisters: Wanda Collett & James of Somerset, KY, Pauline Disbennett & Kenneth of Gahanna, OH, and Brenda Middleton & Terry of Dayton, OH. Also survived by a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral services for Mr. Roger Bowling, Sr. will be held at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, August 7, 2008 at the Stinnett Pentecostal Church. Visitation will begin at 6:00 p.m. Wednesday, August 6, 2008 at the church. Burial will take place at the Bowens Creek Cemetery in Essie, KY under the direction of the Dwayne Walker Funeral Home staff. The following will serve as pallbearers for Mr. Roger Bowling, Sr.: Anthony Bowling, Jamie Collett, Heath Bowling, Matthew Land, Tommy Smith, and David Land.
