The Obituary of Mrs. Anna Jane Watterson Stacy Officiating Minister: Pastor Rick Stone Mrs. Anna Jane Watterson Stacy, Widow of L.B. Stacy, passed away on Thursday, March 21, 2013 at the St. Joseph East Hospital in Lexington, KY. She was a former resident of Hyden, KY but was living in Lexington, KY at the time of her death. She was born on October 26, 1923 at Dickenson County, Virginia and was the Daughter of the late Fred Watterson and the late Ruth Burke. By occupation Anna was a homemaker and had been a life long resident of Leslie County. She was affiliated with the Baptist faith. Anna enjoyed cooking, traveling, gardening, raising flowers but she especially enjoyed being involved in the lives of her children and grandchildren. She was Preceded in Death by her: Parents: Fred and Ruth Watterson; Husband: L.B. Stacy, Sr.; Son; L.B. Stacy, Jr.; Daughter: Linda Spurlock and a host of brothers and sisters. She leaves surviving the following relatives: Daughters: Erma Kemble & Ronald of Lexington, KY., Deanna Stacy & Arturo of Lexington, KY., Teresa Stacy & Hope Bault of Salvisa, KY. and Kim Stacy & Anne Harrison of Willisburg, KY.; Son: Gregory Keith Stacy & Cindy of Lexington, KY.; Sister-In-Laws: Melda Faye Sizemore of Big Creek, KY., Sue Hightower of Wooton, KY., Ruth Watson of Florida, Betty Ponder & Foster of Florida and Edna Morgan Watterson of Kingsport, Tennessee; Brother-In-Law: C.O. Hurt of Tennessee; Also survived by 13 Grandchildren, and numerous Great Grandchildren, Great-Great Grandchildren & Great-Great-Great Grandchildren. Funeral services for Mrs. Anna Jane Watterson Stacy will be conducted at 1:00 P.M. - Monday - March 25, 2013 at the Dwayne Walker Funeral Home Chapel. The interment will follow in the Hurricane Cemetery at Hyden, KY. the following will serve as Pallbearers: Ravena Rockar, Jason Spurlock, Tony Spurlock, Eddie Farler, Scott Farler, Stacy Shifflett, and Matthew Stacy. The following will serve as Honorary Pallbearers: George Stacy, Charles Stacy, Ben Kemble, Christina Hughes, Kenny Hacker and Helena Stacy. Friends may call for Visitation at 11:00 A.M. - Monday - March 25, 2013 at the Dwayne Walker Funeral Home Chapel until funeral hour at 1:00 P.M. In lieu of flowers the family has requested donations may be made to the following: St. Jude Children's Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place , Memphis, TN. 38105 and Frontier Nursing University, P.O.
