The Obituary for Vena Causey Officiating Minister: Mack Lewis Vena Causey was born on July 7, 1923, passed away on April 1, 2009 at the age of 85 years, 8 months & 25 days. Vena was born in Leslie Co., Ky., the daughter of the late Jack Caldwell & Linda Bell Howard Caldwell. She was a life-long resident of Leslie Co., She was a member of the Church of Christ, She enjoyed working with beads & coloring. Vena Causey was preceded in death by her Parents: Jack & Linda Bell Caldwell, Her Husband: J.R. Causey, 1 Grandson: Matthew Hamblin & a host of Brothers & Sisters. She leaves the following relatives surviving: 2 Daughters: Annalee Adams of Wooton, Ky. & Nancy Hamblin of Wooton, Ky. Special Grandson: Dustin E. Belt. Also 10 Grandchildren & a host of Great, Great-Great & Great-Great-Great Grandchildren. Funeral Service for Vena Causey will be conducted on Saturday, April 4, 2009 @ 1:00 P.M. at the Hurts Creek Church of Christ at Hyden, Ky., with Mack Lewis officiating. Burial will follow in the Adams Cemetery at Hyden, Ky., visitation will be on Friday, April 3, 2009 @ 8:00 at the Hurts Creek Church of Christ.
