The obituary of Lucille Bray Amos Officiating Minister: Rev. William Bowling Lucille Bray Amos born September 7, 1938 departed this life on May 6, 2009 at the age of 70 years, 7 months and 30 days old. She was born at Hyden, Kentucky the daughter of the late Bergin Bray and the late Julia Morgan Bray. By occupation she was a homemaker and had been a resident of Middletown, Ohio for the past 21 years. Lucille was a member of the Pentecostal church. She enjoyed flower gardening, home decorating, and was a immaculate house-keeper. But most of all she enjoyed being involved with her children and grandchildren. Lucille was preceded in death by her parents: Bergin & Julie Bray; husband: Clayton Amos; three brothers: Dave, Bobby Dean and Bergin, Jr.; one great grandchild; Vanessa Jewell Smallwood. She leaves surviving the following relatives: one son: Clarence Wayne Smallwood of Middletown, OH; two daughters: Patricia Ann Hayes & Charles of Middletown, OH, Bessie Ann Rice & Lester of Middletown, OH; two sisters: Barbara Sizemore of Sizerock, KY, Bernice Howard of London, KY; seven grandchildren: John Sherman Smallwood, Amber Mae Blakinship, Amelia Lucille Brangers, Paul David Maggard, Travis Wayne Maggard, Randy Wayne Rice & Heather Coleen Fowler. Lucille is also survived by 10 great grandchildren and a host of other treasured relatives and friends. Funeral services for Lucille Bray Amos will be held at 2:00 p.m. - Monday - May 11, 2009 at Jim Sizemore's Church at Bear Branch, Kentucky with Rev. William "Hub" Bowling officiating. Burial will follow in the Bray Family Cemetery located at Rockhouse, Kentucky under the direction of the Dwayne Walker Funeral Home Staff. The following will serve as pallbearers; Randy Rice, Jeff Brangers, David Fowler, Paul Maggard & John Sherman Smallwood.
