The Obituary of Mr. Michael Dudley Burton Officiating Ministers: Steve Springer, Ronnie Pennington, Rod Ledford & Kevin Napier Michael Dudley Burton born September 19, 1987 departed this life on April 11, 2008 at the Johnson City Medical Center, Johnson City, Tennessee. He was 20 years, 6 months, and 23 days old. Michael was born at Hyden, Ky., the son of Henrietta Burton and the late Wayne Sizemore. Michael was a graduate of Leslie Co. High School and was currently attending Hazard Community and Technical College. He was also an employee of Rite-Aid. Michael was a member of the Wooton Baptist Church, Wooton, Ky., and enjoyed four-wheeling, basketball, baseball, music, fishing, and playing his Playstation 3. He was a life-long resident of Leslie County and was residing at 442 Hurricane Road, Hyden, Ky., at the time of his death. Michael was preceded in death by his father, Wayne Sizemore, his maternal grandparents, Dudley and Ruth Burton, his paternal grandparents, Don Hill and Imogene Sizemore Holland, and one uncle, Lawrence Baker. Mr. Michael Burton leaves the following relatives surviving: mother, Henrietta Burton of Hyden, Ky., step-father, Jeff Bowling of Hyden, Ky., girlfriend and son, Lacey and Camden Nolan, four uncles: James Burton and Teresa of Hyden, Ky., Farris Burton of Hyden, Ky., Randy Holland of Bear Branch, Ky., Donnie Holland & Susan of Bear Branch, four aunts, Kathryn & Bill Pennington of Richmond, Ky., Donna Sue Hill of Florida, Tina Osborne of Hyden, Ky., and Emmalene Wells & Rick of Hyden, Ky., two brothers: Dustin Sizemore of Bear Branch, Ky., Andrew Carlos Sizemore of Bear Branch, Ky., grandparents: Charles & Juanita Sizemore of Hyden, Ky.,ten cousins: James Stephen Burton, Heather Begley, Gustavo Alfaro, Joshua Alfaro, Lance Turner, Samantha Turner, Brandon Osborne, Brent Osborne, Mekeshia Osborne, Ryan Holland, & special friend, Tiffanie Conley. The funeral service for Mr. Michael Burton will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. - Tuesday, April 15, 2008 at the Thousandsticks United Methodist Church, with Steve Springer, Ronnie Pennington, Teddy Couch, & Rod Ledford officiating under the direction of the Dwayne Walker Funeral Home Staff. The interment will follow in the Burton Family Cemetery, located on Hurricane Creek Rd., Hyden, Ky. Friends may call for visitation after 6:00 p.m.- Sunday at the Thousandsticks United Methodist Church, the entire day Monday, & until time for the funeral Tuesday all at the church.
