The Obituary for Bill Dawn Mattingly Officiating Ministers: Keith Bowling Mr. Bill Dawn Mattingly was born in Hyden, Kentucky on September 12, 1937, the son of the late, Ramsey & Eva Farmer Mattingly, He passed away at the Pikeville Medical Center in Pikeville, Ky. on Wednesday, February 24,2010 at the age of 72 years, 5 months & 12 days of age. Bill had been a life-long resident of Leslie Co., with the exception of living in Oregon for a number of years. By occupation he was a former Security Guard for Edward Hines Lumber Co. in Oregon. He was a member of the Stinnett Church of Christ at Stinnett, Ky. His hobbies included, hunting, fishing & gardening. Bill Mattingly was preceded in death by his parents, brothers: Holt, Woodrow & Bernard & sister: Juanita He leaves the following relatives surviving: brothers: Tinsley Mattingly of Hyden, Ky. & Ronald Mattingly & Kathy of Hyden, KY., sisters: Mildred Mattingly of Hyden, Ky. & Rita Mattingly of Arizona, a host of nieces & nephews & a host of other relatives & friends. Funeral Service will be conducted on Saturday, February 27, 2010 at 2:00 P.M. at the Dwayne Walker Funeral Home Chapel, with Keith Bowling officiating.
