The obituary of Mrs. Elva Fontana Officiating Minister: Rev. Eugene Roberts Mrs. Elva Fontana, 78 of Hoskinston, KY., departed this life on Thursday, June 20, 2013 at the University of Kentucky Medical Center. She was born in Leslie County the daughter of the late Chester Mosley and the late Martha North . By occupation she was a homemaker and had been a life-long resident of Leslie County. Elva was affiliated with the Stinnett Church of Christ. She enjoyed cooking, her pet dogs, watching television and playing cards. But she especially enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren. Elva was preceded in death by her parents: Chester and Martha Mosley, husband: Willie Lee Fontana, three daughters: Nora Ann, Brenda, and Naomi; one grandson: Matthew Caldwell; a host of brothers and sisters. She leaves surviving the following relatives: four sons: Billy Collett & Teresa of Roark, KY,Danny Collett & Rose Ann of Beverly, Ky., John Brian J.B. Mosley & Tammy of Tazewell, TN, Jimmy Fontana of Frakes, KY, four daughters: Regina Asher of Arjay, KY, Romona Hubbard of Beverly, KY Amanda Fontana of Hoskinston, KY and Zandra Asher of Mozelle, KY, one sister: Maude Strong of Hyden, KY, 36 Grandchildren, 17 Great Grandchildren and a host of Great Great Grandchildren. Also survived by two special friends and caregivers Mike Smith and Lashanda Smith, and a special friend: Jerry Johns. Funeral services for Mrs. Elva Fontana will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Monday, June 24, 2013 at the Lower Middlefork Pentecostal Church at Asher, KY with Rev. Eugene Roberts officiating. Burial will follow in the Morgan Cemetery at Hoskisnton, KY with the grandsons serving as pallbeaers.
