The Obituary of Mrs. Della Adams Roberts Officiating Ministers: Rev. Ted Couch and Rev. James Bowling, Jr. Mrs. Della Adams Roberts, 66, of 25640 Hwy. #421, Rockhouse, Hyden, Ky., departed this life on Sunday, October 7, 2012. She was born at Wendover, Kentucky. She was the Daughter of the late Reuben Adams and the late Eva Hoskins Adams. By occupation Della was employed by the Leslie County Board of Education as a worker in the School Cafeteria. She was a devoted member of the Rockhouse Pentecostal Church and had been an organist for 25 years. Della enjoyed gardening, flowers and especially being involved in the life of her granddaughter Erica Danielle. She was a life long resident of Leslie County, KY. Della was preceded in death by: Parents: Reuben & Eva; Husband: Mr. Paul Roberts; Brothers: Leonard, Matt, William, Elmer & Carl; Sisters: Marie Young, Juanita Bowling and Roberta Haggard. She leaves surviving the following relatives Daughter: Melanie Morgan & husband, Gary Lynn of Stinnett, KY.; Beloved Granddaughter: Erica Danielle Morgan of Stinnett, KY.; Brothers: Owen(Goof Ball) & Shirley Adams of Hyden, KY., Albert Adams of Hazard, KY., Charlie Adams of Wendover, KY.; Sisters; Pearlie Morgan of Wendover, KY., Martha Patton & Howard of Lexington, KY. and Florence Barger & Harold of Hyden, KY.; Special Friends and Neighbors: Thelma Lewis and Charlie & Patricia Hoskins. Funeral services for Mrs. Della Adams Roberts will be conducted at 1:00 P.M. - Wednesday, October 10, 2012 at the Rockhouse Pentecostal Church with Rev. Ted Couch and Rev. James Bowling, Jr. officiating. Burial will follow in the Laurel Fork Cemetery located at Hyden, KY. The following will serve as Pallbearers: Shannon Adams, Jeffery Roberts, Cameron Roberts Brayden Roberts, Brent Napier & Darren Hoskins. Friends may call for visitation at 5:00 P.M.
