The obituary of Mr. Albert "Babe" Chappell Officiating Minister: Rev. Sam Baer Mr. Albert "Babe" Chappell born March 29, 1941 departed this life on July 1, 2010 at the Hazard Appalachian Regional Medical Center. He was 69 years old. Albert was born at Hoskinston, Ky., the son of Nellie Morgan Chappell and the late Hillie Chappell. Albert was a retired logger and a member of the Holiness Church. He enjoyed ATV riding, squirrel hunting, fishing, & spending time in the mountains. Albert was preceded in death by his father: Hillie Chappell, & one brother: Sidney Chappell. Mr. Albert "Babe" Chappell leaves the following relatives surviving: Mother: Nellie Morgan Chappell of Hoskinston, Ky., mother of children and best friend: Zelma Bowling,three daughters: Tammy Cornett and husband, Jim of Thousandsticks, Ky., Kathy Cornett and husband, Steve, of Thousandsticks, Ky., Kendra Chappell, two brothers: Truman Chappell and Alice of Hoskinston, Ky., Olin Chappell & Kathy of London, Ky., one sister: Wanda Chappell of Hyden, Ky., 12 treasured grandchildren: Melissa, Tina, Justin, James, Daniel, Brittany, Mark, Steven, Josh, Aaron,Jason,Tracy & 6 treasured great-grandchildren. The funeral service for Mr. Albert Chappell will be conducted at 1:00 P.M. - Monday - July 5, 2010 at the Dwayne Walker Funeral Home, Hyden, Ky., with Rev. Sam Baer officiating. The interment will follow in the Britton Branch Cemetery, Chappell, Ky., under the direction of the Dwayne Walker Funeral Home Staff.
