The Obituary of Mrs. Etta Rose North Officiating Minister: Rev. Ted Brock Mrs. Etta Rose North was born on June 28, 1914 at Crab Orchard, KY. and departed this life on February 6, 2011 at the Harlan Health & Rehab Center. She was the daughter of the late Henry Rose and the late Rosie Slusher. She was a lifelong resident of Leslie County and was a homemaker by occupation. She enjoyed flower gardening and was a member of the Upper Beechfork United Methodist Church at Helton, KY. She was preceded in death by: her parents; Husband: Lee North; Son: Noble North; Sisters: Edna Esteridge and Martha North; Brother: Roy Rose; Grandson: Keith North. Etta Rose leaves the following relatives surviving: Sons: Alvin North of LaFollette, TN., David North & Priscilla of Helton, KY. and Goble Cline North & Marjorie of Pennsylvania; Daughters: Lola North of Harlan, KY. and Ruby Collins of Somerset, KY.; Brothers: Fred Rose & Virgie of Helton, KY. and Jim Rose & Ruth of Dayton, OH.; Sister: Emma Napier of Ohio; 10 Grandchildren; 11 Great Grandchildren; Also survived by a host of great, great grandchildren. Funeral services for Mrs. Etta Rose North will be conducted on Wednesday - February 9, 2011 at 1:00 P.M. at the Upper Beech Fork United Methodist Church at Helton, KY. with Rev. Ted Brock officiating. Burial will follow the funeral services at the North Family Cemetery at Helton, KY. The following will serve as Pallbearers: Charles North, Randal Rose and Elzie Nantz.
