She was the daughter of the late Reason Griffith and the late Kizzy Joseph Griffith. My occupation she was a homemaker, who attended the Church of God. She was preceded in death by her parents: Reason Griffith & Kizzy Joseph Griffith; husband: Albert Maggard; daughter: Marie Clark; son: Lawrence Joseph; grandson: Reason Johnny Martin Joseph. She leaves surviving the following relatives: son: Reason Ray Joseph & Mae of Yeaddiss, KY; two daughters: Tilda Mae Rush of Florida and Christine Joseph of Hyden, KY; one sister: America Shepherd of Slemp, KY; and thirteen grandchildren. Also survived by a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral services for Mrs. Martha Maggard will be held at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, July 23, 2008 at the Big Fork Church of God in Yeaddiss, KY with Rev. Billy Joe Lewis and Clemmie Joseph officiating. Visitation will begin at 6:00 p.m. Tuesday, July 22, 2008 at the Big Fork Church of God.
