The Obituary of Mrs. Sadie Morgan Officiating Minister: Rev. Geoffrey Roberts Mrs. Sadie Morgan was born on June 24, 1923 in Hyden, KY. and departed this life on Saturday, January 5, 2013 at the Oakwood Hospital, Corbin, Ky. She was 89 years of age at the time of her passing. Sadie was the daughter of the late Lee Morgan & the late Nancy Asher Morgan. Sadie was a former resident of Hyden, Ky. & was living at Williamsburg, Ky., at the time of her passing. Sadie was a disabled homemaker & of the Baptist Faith. Mrs. Sadie Morgan was Preceded in Death by her: Parents: Lee Morgan and Nancy Asher Morgan; Brothers: Junior, John, Caleb, Rob, Eul, Huey, Dewey, Will & Brownlo; Sisters: Mable, Myrtle, Dot, Mary & Allie. Mrs. Sadie Morgan leaves the following relatives surviving: Son: James Morgan & wife, Myrtle of Ocala, Florida; Grandchildren: Teresa Sue, Ronald Lee, James Edward, Jr., Neal & Regina Lynn; 15 Great Grandchildren; 6 Great-Great Grandchildren; A host of treasured nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends also survive her passing. Funeral service for Mrs. Sadie Morgan will be conducted 1:00 P.M. - Wednesday - January 9, 2013 at the Dwayne Walker Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Geoffrey Roberts officiating. Interment will follow in the Morgan-Begley Cemetery, Hyden, Ky. Friends may call for visitation from 11:00 A.M. until the funeral hour at 1:00 P.M. on Wednesday at the Dwayne Walker Funeral Home.
