Holland was born on May 10, 1939 and departed this life on July 29, 2009 at the age of 70 years, 2 months, and 19 days. She was a lifelong resident of Leslie County at the time of her death. She was the daughter of the late Golden Sizemore and the late Fannie Osborne Sizemore. By occupation she was a homemaker. Some of her hobbies included gardening and taking care of her children. She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers: Bobby Sizemore, Larry Sizemore; two sisters: Geraldine Sizemore and Imogene Sizemore. She leaves surviving the following relatives: two sons: Billy Holland & Zuba of Bear Branch, KY and Keith Holland of Bear Branch; daughter: Vickie L. Smallwood & Tracey of Bear Branch; special aunt: Ida Sizemore of Bear Branch; one brother: Fred Sizemore & Laura of Bear Branch; sister: Dorothy Holland & Curtis of London, KY; six grandchildren: Kyle, Kayla, Austin, Keisha, Jordan, and Douglas; three great-grandchildren: Braden, Lexus, and Galen. A host of other relatives and friends also survive. Funeral services for Ms. Nella M. Holland will be held on Saturday, August 1, 2009 at 1:00 p.m. at Jim Sizemore's Church in Bear Branch, KY. Visitation will begin at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday and all day Friday at the church. Burial will take place at the Jack Napier Cemetery in Thousandsticks, KY following the funeral service.
