The Obituary for David Wayne Mosley Officiating Minister: Pastor Steve Springer David Wayne Mosley was born on October 14, 1961 in Harlan, Kentucky, the son of Vance & Elsie Nolan Mosley. David passed away on Tuesday, September 28, 2010 at his residence at Mozelle, Ky., at the age of 48 years, 11 months & 14 days. David was a life-long resident of Leslie Co., by occupation he was a former coal miner,real estate appraisor & surveyor for Nami Resources and was presently a Senior Landsman for 3M Energy. David was affliated with the Lower Beech Fork United Methodist Church at Mozelle, Ky. David enjoyed being involved in the lives of his children, U.K. sports - especially basketball, hunting & fishing. David Wayne Mosley was preceded in death by his brother: Douglas Wade Mosley, paternal grandparents: Rufus & Pearl Mosley & maternal grandparents: Bill & Maude Nolan, Sr. He leaves the following relatives surviving: parents: Vance & Elsie Nolan Mosley of Mozelle, KY., three sons: David Drew Mosley of Big Creek, KY., Gaige Mosley of Washington, D.C. & Garyn Mosley of Washington, D.C., two nephews: Venton Douglas Trey Mosley & Ruth Nicole of Stinnett, KY. & Coby Wade Mosley & Brittany of Stinnett, KY. & one great nephew: Carson Douglas Mosley of Stinnett, Ky. Also a host of other relatives & friends survive. Funeral service for David Wayne Mosley will be conducted on Friday, October 1, 2010 at 11:00 A.M. at the Lower Beech Fork United Methodist Church at Mozelle, Ky., with Pastor Steve Springer officiating. Burial will follow in the Slusher-Mosley Cemetery at Mozelle,KY. the following will serve as pallbearers: Trey Mosley, Coby Mosley, Drew Mosley, Alvin Nantz, Mitchell Curry, Brett Wilson, Terrell Wilson & Byron Burkhart.
