The Obituary for John H. Miniard Officiating Minister: Tony Little John H. Miniard was born on September 9, 1931 at Yeaddiss, Ky., the son of the late Willard Miniard, Sr. & Mary Elizabeth "Lizzie" Shell Miniard. He passed away on Monday, April 4, 2011 at his residence at 741 Mudlick Rd., Yeaddiss, Ky. at the age of 79 years, 6 months & 25 days. He was a life-long resident of Leslie Co. with the exception of living in Dayton, Ohio for some years. By occupation he was a former grill cook for Frisch's Big Boy Restaurant in Dayton, Ohio & also a retired coal miner. John H. was affiliated with the Cutshin Bible Church at Yeaddiss, Ky. He enjoyed spending time with his family, farming & hunting. John H. Miniard was preceded in death by his Parents: Willard Sr. & Mary Elizabeth "Lizzie" Shell Miniard; a stillborn child; two Brothers: Hobert & Henderson; four Sisters: Margie, Cinda, Kathy & Nancy. He leaves the following relatives surviving: His Loving & Devoted Wife: Carrie Joseph Miniard of Yeaddiss, Ky.; two Sons: Jeffery John Miniard & Sandra of Jackson, KY. & Jerry Michael Miniard & Jane of Fort Mitchell, Ky.; two Daughters: Teresa Janine Stacy & Randy of Yeaddiss, Ky. & Felicia Erline Ison & Gary of Slemp, Ky.; two Brothers: Roscoe Miniard & Inettia of Yeaddiss, Ky. & Williard Minard, Jr. & Annette of Yeaddiss, Ky.; 1 Sister: Oma Brown & Ellis of Mozelle, Ky.; 13 Grandchildren & 10 Great-Grandchildren. Also a host of Nieces, Nephews, other relatives & friends survive. Funeral service will be on Saturday, April 9, 2011 at 1:00 P.M. at the Dwayne Walker Funeral Home in Hyden, Ky. with Tony Little officiating. Burial will follow in the Miniard Family Cemetery at Yeaddiss, Ky. Visitation will be on Friday, April 8, 2011 at 6:00 P.M. at the Dwayne Walker Funeral Home Chapel.
