He was 64 years & 28 days old. Bill was born at Springfield, Ohio, the son of Jewell Watkins Moore & the late Corbett Moore. Bill was a retired employee of General Motors. He was a 32 degree Mason & member of the Scottish rite of Dayton, Ohio. Bill had been a resident of London, Ky., for the past 12 years & was residing at 100 Boulder Drive, London, Ky., at the time of his death. Bill was affiliated with the Swiss Colony Baptist Church, London, Ky. Mr. Bill F. Roberts, Jr., was preceded in death by his father, Corbett Moore and his father-in-law, Mr. Henry Roberts. Mr. Bill F. Roberts, Jr., leaves the following relatives surviving: wife: Marietta Roberts of London, Ky., his mother: Jewell Watkins Moore of Amelia, Ohio, one son: Jonathon Lee Roberts and wife, Coty, of London, Ky., one daughter: Kimberly Annie Roberts & Cheryl Ann Cress of Jeffersonville, Ohio, four grandchildren: Joshua Lee Roberts, Kristina Marie Roberts, Jacob Rutger Roberts, and Olivia Jean Roberts, one sister: Linda Sue Davis of Amelia, Ohio,mother -in - law: Zola Roberts of London, Ky., his beloved pets: Smokey & Boomer, and a host of treasured nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends to mourn his death. The funeral service for Mr. Bill F. Roberts, Jr., will be conducted at 3:00 P.M - Monday - October 27, 2008 at the Dwayne Walker Funeral Home Chapel, Hyden, Ky., with Johnny Jervis & Pastor John Lockwood officiating. The interment will follow in the John North Cemetery, located at Hyden, Ky., under the direction of the Dwayne Walker Funeral Home Staff.
