Richard Guerrant & Keith Bowling Sally Melton Wooton was born on April 17, 1919 at Wooton, Kentucky, the daughter of the late, Roe & Mary Nantz Melton. She passed away on Saturday, August 7, 2010 at the University of Kentucky Medical Center, Lexington, Kentucky at the age of 91 years, 3 months & 20 days. Sally was a life-long resident of Leslie Co., she was a member, trustee & elder of the Central Presbyterian Church, Hyden, KY. & also was involved in various activities at the Church. Sally was a retired employee of the Hyden Citizens Bank, Hyden, Ky. She enjoyed flower gardening, sewing & spending time with her family. Sally Melton Wooton was preceded in death by her parents; her husband: George Wooton; brothers: Jody, Hyden, Tom, Gordon & William Henry Melton; sisters: Nette, Eva & Lillian. She leaves the following relatives surviving: one daughter: Marlene Wooton Feltner & William of Hyden, KY.; two granddaughters: Alyssa Bowling of Hyden, KY. & Amy Melton of Hyden, KY.; 1 grandson: Greg Feltner of Hyden, KY.; two brothers: Clayton Eugene Melton of Michigan & Edgar Paul Melton of Wooton, KY.; one sister: Betty Melton Begley of Wooton, Ky.; & a host of nieces, nephews & other relatives & friends survive. Funeral service for Sally Melton Wooton will be conducted by the Dwayne Walker Funeral Home on Wednesday, August 11, 2010 at 1:00 P.M. at the Central Presbyterian Church, Hyden, KY., with Rev. Richard Guerrant & Keith Bowling officiating. Burial will follow in the George Wooton family cemetery at Wendover, Hyden, KY.The following will serve as pallbearers, Craig Melton, Scott Melton, Jamie Melton, Ray Brewer, Robert Brewer & Brent Morgan. Visitation will be Tuesday, August 10, 2010 at 6:00 P.M. at the Dwayne Walker Funeral Home Chapel. In Lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Central Presbyterian Church, P.O.
