The obituary of Mr. Wilbert Lee Eldridge. Officiating minister: Mike Brown. Mr. Wilbert Lee Eldridge was born on July 28, 1948 and departed this life on June 16, 2008 at the age of 59 years, 10 months, and 19 days. He was born in Bridgeton, New Jersey, he lived most of his adult life at Busy, Ky. He had been a resident of Shepherdsville, Ky for the past 13 years. He was the son of the late John Eldridge and the late Sinda Stidham Eldridge. For his hobbies he enjoyed fishing, hunting, and watching the Cincinnati Reds play baseball. He was also a member of the Assembly of God in Sheperdsville, Kentucky. He leaves surviving the following relatives: wife: Brenda Lewis Eldridge of Sheperdsville, KY; two sons: Kevin Eldridge & Tiffany of Sheperdsville, KY and Willie Eldridge of Busy, KY; one daughter: Cindy Ing & William of Sheperdsville, KY; four brothers: Rod Eldridge & Rosetta of Sheperdsville, KY, "Willie" Bill Eldridge & Lydia of Somerset, KY, A.J. Eldridge & Pam of New Jersey, and Johnny Eldridge & Rosemary of Busy, KY; two sisters: Sandra Rogers & Danny of Busy, KY and Sheila Caldwell & Leon of Sheperdsville, KY; eight grandchildren: Brittany, Kelli, Austin, Dylan, Christin, Alexis, Tyler, and Nathan. Also survived by a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral services for Mr. Wilbert Lee Eldridge will be held at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, June 19, 2008 at the Engle-Walker Perry Chapel in Hazard, Kentucky with Rev. Mike Brown officiating. Visitation will take place on Wednesday, June 18, 2008 beginning at 6:00 p.m. for the public at the Engle Walker Perry Chapel. Burial will take place at the Baker Cemetery in Busy, Kentucky. The pallbearers include: Bill Eldridge, Kevin Eldridge, Shane Ing, Rod Eldridge, James Albert Caldwell, and J.J. Eldridge. You may sign the guest book at www.walkerfuneralhomesllc.com.
