Laura Morgan Hoskins

Mrs. Laura Morgan Hoskins of Stinnett, KY. was born on September 5, 1915 and departed this life on Tuesday, August 20, 2013 at the Mary Breckinridge-ARH Hospital in Hyden, KY. at the age of 97 years, 11 months & 15 days. She was born at Stinnett,Ky., the daughter of the late Albert Morgan & Polly Sizemore Morgan. Laura was united in marriage to Walter Hoskins on May 29, 1928. Laura owned and operated Walter Hoskins Market, Stinnett, Ky., with her beloved husband, Walter. Laura was a faithful and devoted member of the Stinnett Pentecostal Church, she professed Christ as her Savior at the age of 13. She was a Christian for 84 years. Laura enjoyed reading, sewing, gardening, attending church, & most of all being involved in the lives of her children and grandchildren. Laura was preceded in death by her parents, her beloved husband: Walter, one son: James Hoskins, one grandson: James Hoskins, Jr., two son-in-laws: James Bowling, Sr., & Vernon Bowling, & a host of brother and sisters. Mrs. Laura Morgan Hoskins leaves the following relatives surviving: Eight Daughters: Margaret Bowling of Essie, KY Laverna Roberts & Virgil of Dayton, OH, Zelma Wagers & Carl of Vandalia, Oh, Norma Bowling of Hyden, Ky, Beulah Napier & Vernon of London, KY, Jewell Hoskins of Stinnett, KY, Betty Baker & Wayne of Stinnett, KY, Judy Stubblefield & Ronnie of Stinnett, Ky Special Daughter-In-Law: Anna Hoskins of Hyden, KY, 18 Grandchildren, 33 Great Grandchildren and a host of Great Great Grandchildren survive VISITATION: After 6:00 P.M.
