John Pugh Etta Mae Collett was born on February 9, 1928 in Montgomery Co., KY., the Daughter of the late Walter & the late Etta Belle McIntosh Cress. She passed away on Tuesday, April 2, 2013 at the Greg & Noreen Wells Hospice Care Center in Hazard, KY. at the age of 85 years, 1 month & 24 days. Etta Mae had been a resident of Leslie Co. for the past 48 years. By occupation she was a former Cook for the Mary Breckinridge Hospital for 23 years. She was a member of the Grassy Branch Pentecostal Church at Essie, KY. She enjoyed being a loving wife, cooking, sewing, gardening & working in the kitchen at the Mary Breckinridge Hospital. Etta Mae Collett was Preceded in Death by her: Parents: Walter & Etta Belle McIntosh Cress; Husband: Rev. Fred Collett; Son: Rowland Feltner; Daughter: Maxine Lewis & her Husband: James; Sister: Lena Welch; Brothers: Tommy, Willard, Roy & Herman Cress; Great-Granddaughter: Waynna Napier. She leaves the following relatives surviving: Sons: Randy Collett & Tina of Stinnett, KY. & Dennis Feltner & Joan of Essie, KY.; Daughters: Mildred Johnson & David of Seymour, Indiana, Barbara Doan & Ron of Berea, KY. & Donna Morgan of Berea, KY.; Brothers: John Cress of Hamilton, Ohio & Herbert Cress of Pathfork, KY.; 15 Grandchildren, 26 Great-Grandchildren & 3 Great-Great Grandchildren. Also a host of other relatives & friends survive. Funeral services for Mrs. Etta Mae Collett will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday ~ April 6, 2013 at the Grassy Branch Pentecostal Church, Essie, Ky., with Rev. John Pugh, Rev. Everett Eads, Rev. Harold Eads & Rev. Ronnie Opplinger officiating. Burial will follow in the Albert Morgan Cemetery in Essie, KY. The following will serve as Pallbearers: Jonathan Doan, Charles Maupin, Joseph "Joey" Morgan, Andrew Morgan, Darrin Feltner, Scott Morgan, David Morgan and Tim Tate. The following will serve as Honorary Pallbearers: Bill Feltner and Marty Morgan. Visitation will be on Friday ~ April 5, 2013 beginning at 6:00 P.M. at the Church.
