The Obituary of Lucy Asher Chrusciel Lucy Asher Chrusciel was born on April 6, 1940 at Asher, KY., the daughter of the late Hobart Asher & Sophia Collett Asher. She passed away on Wednesday ~ January 16, 2013 at the Mary Breckinridge ARH Hospital in Hyden, Ky. She was 72 years of age at the time of her passing. She was a life-long resident of Leslie Co. She enjoyed gardening for her hobbies. Lucy Asher Chrusciel was Preceded in Death by her: Parents: Hobart Asher & Sophia Collett Asher and Brother: Ralph Collett. She leaves the following relatives surviving: Sons: Adam Chrusciel of Indiana and Joshua Chrusciel of Lexington, KY.; Brothers: Walden Asher, Beldon Asher, Charles Edward Asher, Willis Asher and Robert Collett; Sister: Nancy Asher; Granddaughter: Sarah; Great Granddaughter: Emma Mae; A host of Nieces, Nephews, Cousins other Relatives & Friends also survive. Funeral services for Lucy Asher Chrusciel will be conducted on Sunday, January 20, 2013 at 1:00 P.M. at the Dwayne Walker Funeral Home, Hyden, KY. with Charles Edward Asher & Douglas Turner officiating. Burial will follow in the Bowen's Creek Cemetery at Essie, KY. Visitation will also be on Sunday beginning 11:00 A.M. at the funeral home chapel.
