The Obituary of Mrs. Bernice Adams Fields Officiating Ministers: Rev. Tony Little, Rev. Billy Joe Lewis and Rev. Larry Lewis Mrs. Bernice Adams Fields was born on May 21, 1942 in Yeaddiss, KY. and passed away on Friday ~ December 9, 2011 at the Hospice Care Center in Hazard, KY. She was 69 years of age at the time of her passing. Bernice was the Daughter of the late Toy Adams and the late Dallie Shepherd Adams. By occupation Bernice was a Homemaker and was a lifelong resident of Leslie County. She was a Member of the Eastern Star Nolan Lodge. She enjoyed working in her garden, cooking and was devoted to her family. Bernice was Affiliated with the Cutshin Bible Church. She was Preceded in Death by: Parents: Toy & Dallie Shepherd Adams; Brothers: Homer Adams and Leonard Adams; Sisters: Helen Shepherd and Mavie Adams; Brother-In-Law: Leo Wells and Sister-In-Law: Katie Adams. Mrs. Bernice Adams Fields leaves the following relatives surviving: her loving and devoted husband of 45 years: Lee Roy Fields of Yeaddiss, KY.; Daughters: Sherry Baker of Hazard, KY. and Jennifer Spickard & Greg of Hartville, OH; Brother: Walter Adams & Adeline of Lexington, KY.; Sisters: Lillian Wells of Smilax, KY., Edith Treadway & Banford of Paris, KY., Ophia Sebastian & Henry of Lawrenceburg, KY.; Special Nephew: Shannon Shepherd of Wooton, KY.; Grandchildren: Matthew Leroy Baker, Alexandria Turner, Nate Spickard, Zachary Spickard, Sydney Spickard and Jacob Spickard. Funeral services for Mrs. Bernice Adams Fields will be conducted on Monday ~ Dec. 12, 2011 at 1:00 P.M. at the Dwayne Walker Funeral Home with Rev. Tony Little, Rev. Billy Joe Lewis and Rev. Larry Lewis officiating. Burial will follow in the Full Gospel Church of Jesus Christ at Smilax, KY. The following will serve as Pallbearers: Nate Spickard, Shannon Shepherd, Greg Spickard, Johnny Turner, Tim Sebastian and Fred Wells.
