She was born in Harlan, KY, daughter of Otis Wagner & Shirley Pennington. Sherry was a member of the Leslie Co. Saddle Club & enjoyed horseback riding, horses, ATV riding, and her dogs as hobbies. Sherry was a life-long resident of Leslie Co. residing st Stinnett, Ky., at the time of her death. She was preceded in death by her Grandparents: Lee & Ollie Pennington; Sally Carnes & Dewey Wagner; one brother: Otis Wagner, Jr.; two half-brothers: Kevin Lee and James Elvis Pennington. Mrs. Sherry Lynn Wagner leaves surviving the following relatives: father: Otis Wagner and Step-Mother Polly of Hoskinston, Ky; mother: Shirley Pennington of Stinnett, Ky; one step-brother: Jerry Roberts and Teresa of Hyden, Ky; two step-sisters: Linda Pennington and Otis of Hyden, Ky, and Donna Jones and Kenny of Hyden, Ky; one nephew: Leon and special nephew; Cody "Bill". Sherry was also survived by a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral services for Mrs. Sherry Lynn Wagner will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, August 13, 2008 at the Dwayne Walker Funeral Home Chapelwith Rev. David Napier, Rev. Ralph Brown, & Rev. Robert Lee Hacker officiating. Visitation will begin at 5:00 p.m. Tuesday, August 12, 2008 at the funeral home. Burial will take place at the Otis Wagner Family Cemetery in Hoskinston, KY under the direction of the Dwayne Walker Funeral Home staff. The following will serve as pallbearers for Mrs. Sherry Lynn Wagner: Otis Pennington, Kenneth Pennington, Jamie Pennington and Stevie Paul Pennington.
