William Sizemore, Jr.

The obituary of Mr. William Sizemore, Jr. Mr. William Sizemore, Jr., age 82 of Lebanon, Ohio and formerly of Leslie Co., Ky., passed peacefully Friday, April 29, 2011 at the Good Samaritan Hospital in Cincinnati, Ohio. William was born September 17, 1928 on Bull Creek in Dry Hill, Ky. He was the son of the late Willam Sizemore, Sr.& Georgia Begley Sizemore & was a retired welder with General Electric Co. in Cincinnat, Ohio with nearly 30 years of service. William was a loving & devoted husband, father, and grandfather, a proud Kentucky Colonel, a member of the Fellowship of Praise Church in Clarksville, the cornerstone Church of God in Lebanon, Ohio and the Princeton Pike Church of God. William was the owner of the Pit Stop Carry-Out since 1988, a fan of Kentucky Basketball, enjoyed fishing and was a true family man. William was preceded in death by his parents, brothers: Owen, Skylar, Oakley, Charley & sisters: Eva, Oza, and Mae. William leaves behind his loving wife of 62 years Joyce Couch Sizemore of Lebanon, Ohio, sons: Gary Sizemore & wife, Sherry of Lebanon, Ohio, Dwight Sizemore and wife, Terri of Lebanon, Ohio, daughters: Loretta Barnett and husband, Dallas of Oregonia, Ohio & Gwinette Johnson & husband, Rick, of Oregonia, Ohio, brother Ray, sisters Elizabeth and Edna; thirteen treasured grandchildren & eleven treasured great grandchildren. Friends may call on the family Sunday afternoon, May 1, 2011 from 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. at the Fellowship of Praise Church located at 8625 State Route 22 & 3, Clarksville, Ohio. The funeral service will be conducted @ 6:00 p.m. Sunday with Rev. Matt Morgan & Rev. Orville Robinson officiating. A second funeral service will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. - Monday - May 2, 2011 at the Couch's Fork Church of God, Bear Branch, Kentucky with Rev. Kevin Napier, Rev. Matt Morgan & Rev. Orville Robinson officiating. The interment will follow in the Farmer Couch Cemetery, Bear Branch, Ky. Friends may call for visitation at 1:30 p.m. - Monday, at the church.
