The obituary of Mrs. Sarah Cornett Sizemore Officiating Ministers: Rev. Kevin Napier, Rev. Joey Burns and Rev. Jerry Holland Mrs. Sarah Cornett Sizemore born June 11, 1920 departed this life on October 4, 2012 at the Hazard Appalachian Regional Hospital. She was 92 years of age at the time of her passing. She was born in Leslie County the daughter of the late James Cornett and the late Martha Wooton Cornett Bowling. By occupation Sarah was a homemaker and had been a life-long resident of Leslie County. She enjoyed sewing, quilting, canning, cooking and feeding others. But she especially enjoyed being involved in the lives of her grandchildren and other family members. Mrs. Sarah Sizemore was a devoted member of the Couch's Fork Church of God for over 45 years. Sarah was preceded in death by her parents: James & Martha, husband: Frank Sizemore, Sr., 2 daughters: Hester Vierlin & Elsie Sizemore, 5 brothers: Jackson, Bradley, Earl, Ford & Carter, 2 sisters: Laura & Flora. She leaves surviving the following relatives: 4 sons: Eugene Sizemore & Billie of Sellersburg, IN, Stanley Sizemore & Arlene of Berea, KY, Bradley Sizemore & Treva of Hazard, KY, Frank Sizemore, Jr. & Janet of Cincinnati, OH, 7 daughters: Jean Dorman & John of Clarksville, IN, Martha Roark & Eddie of Charlestown, IN, Shirley Morgan & Bearl of Essie, Ky, Carrie Dean Sizemore of Bear Branch, KY Nellie Rose Wilkinson & Harry of Wilmington, OH, Sandra K. Barger & Dale of London, Ky Cassie Davidson & Louis of Big Creek, KY, 1 brother: Sam Cornett of Manchester, IN, 2 sisters: Ollie Davidson of London, Ky and Sara Cornett of New Castle, IN. She is also survived by 19 grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren and a host of other treasured relatives and friends. Funeral services for Mrs. Sarah Cornett Sizemore will be conducted at 11 a.m. Sunday - October 7, 2012 at the Couch's Fork Church of God with Rev. Kevin Napier, Rev. Joey Burns and rev. Jerry Holland officiating. Burial will follow in the Ulysses Creek Cemetery located at Bear Branch, KY. Friends may call for visitation beginning at 1pm - Saturday, October 6, 2012 at the Couch's Fork Church of God at Bear Branch, KY.
