By occupation she was a retired Professional Chef. Cordy enjoyed cooking, sewing & crafts. Cordy Burkhart leaves the following relatives surviving: 1 Son: Dennis Gross & Angela of Helton, Ky., 2 Daughters: Darlene Poth of Cincinnati, Ohio, Rita Stapleton & Robert of Lebanon, Ohio, 2 Brothers: Harold Napier of Bledsoe, Ky., Johnny Burkhart & Gerri of Covington, KY., 2 Sisters: Sue Napier of Helton, Ky. & Shirley Nolan of Stinnett, Ky., 7 Grandchildren: Todd Gross, Dennis Poth, April Johnson, Joshua Poth, Christopher Simpson, Teresa Stacey & Jason Simpson & 9 Great-Grandchildren. Funeral service for Cordy Burkhart will be conducted by the Dwayne Walker Funeral Home, Hyden, Ky. on Thursday, June 4, 2009 at 2:00 P.M. at the Upper Beechfork United Methodist Church at Helton, Ky., with Phillip Bell & Teddy Collett officiating. The following will serve as pallbearers: Billy Michael Collett, Paul Gross, Chris Simpson, Larry Napier, Todd Gross & Jason Simpson.
