Mary Barbara Smith

Mary Barbara Smith of 48 Glory Lane Rd., Wendover, Ky. was born on February 17, 1951. She departed this life on Thursday, November 14, 2013 at her residence at the age of 62. Mary was born at Hyden, Kentucky the daughter of Dolphie Morgan Farler and the late Bennie Farler. By occupation she was a homemaker and had been a resident of Leslie County for the past 22 years having come from Connersville, Indiana. Mary was affiliated with the Church of Christ. She enjoyed reading, working puzzles, gardening and flower gardening, but she especially enjoyed being involved in her families lives. Mary was preceded in death by her father: Bennie Farler, husband of 42 years: Thomas Smith, brother: Jerry Farler, sister: Wanda "Evalena" Thurman, grandchild: Timothy Shane Foreman. She leaves surviving the following relatives: loving & devoted mother: Dolphie Morgan Farler of Wendover, KY, one daughter: Tammy Wilson & James of Wendover, KY, two brothers: Roy Farler & Barbara of Wendover, KY, James Farler & Donna of Connersville, IN, five sisters: Nancy Morgan & Argene of Vanceburg, KY, Lula Mae Hensley & Ted of Metamora,Indiana, Betty Morgan & Brownlo of Everton, IN, Bonnie Young of Rushville,IN, Edna Carver & Butch of Garrison, KY, two grandchildren: Ashley Bramble & Luke, Aaron Foreman, Two step-grandchildren: James Wilson & Jennifer, Devan Wilson, three great grandchildren: Payton Bramble, Dalton Bramble and Anna Lise Foreman. Also survived by a host of treasured nieces, nephews, cousin and other relatives and friends.
