The Obituary for Mrs. Calva Roberts Officiating Ministers: Rev. Vernon Willard, Rev. Geoffery Roberts and Rev. Fred Disney Mrs. Calva Roberts, age 94 of Muncy Creek Rd. of Stinnett, KY. passed away on Wednesday, October 10, 2012 at the Greg & Noreen Wells Hospice Care Center in Hazard, Ky. She was born at Wendover, KY, the daughter of the late Boone Hoskins and the late Cordelia Cornett Hoskins. By occupation she was a Sales Clerk and was employed by the Maggard's Department Store. Calva enjoyed gardening, flowers but she especially enjoyed spending time with her family. She was a member of the Stinnett Gap Church of God and had been a life-long resident of Leslie County. Mrs. Calva Roberts was Preceded in Death by: her Husband: Cecil Roberts; Brother: Homer Hoskins; Sister: Faye Hoskins; Grandson: Tony Roberts. She leaves surviving the following relatives: Sons: Kenneth Hoskins & Patricia of New Carlisle, OH., Doyle Roberts & Martha Lou of Stinnett, KY. and Dwayne Roberts & Judy of Crab Orchard, KY.; Step-Son: Paul Roberts of Crab Orchard, KY.; Daughters: Gewandene Collett of Stinnett, KY., Kathleen Roberts & Donald of Stinnett, KY. and Wilma Hoskins of Stinnett, KY.; Brothers: Eldon "Elsie" Hoskins & Ruby of Hyden, KY. and Pearl Hoskins of North Carolina. Calva is also survived by 17 grandchildren, a host of great grandchildren, and a host of great great grandchildren. Funeral services for Mrs. Calva Hoskins Roberts will be conducted at 1:00 P.M. Saturday, October 13, 2012 at the Stinnett Gap Church of God with Rev. Vernon Willard, Rev. Geoffery Roberts and Rev. Fred Disney officiating. Burial will follow in the Bray Family Cemetery located at Stinnett, KY. Friends may call for visitation at 6:00 P.M. Friday, October 12, 2012 at the church.
