The Obituary of Mrs. Anna L. Schmidt Officiating Minister: Clayton Baker Mrs. Anna L. Schmidt was born on April 7, 1945 and departed this life on July 18, 2010 at the age of 65 years. She was the daughter of the late Johnny Day and the late Nellie Lewis. She was a resident of Leslie County with the exception of living in Florida and Somerset for 15 years. By occupation she was a homemaker. She enjoyed flower gardening, reading and cats. She was a member of the Church of Christ. She was preceded in death by her parents. She leaves the following relatives surviving: Husband: Floyd "Al" Schmidt of Apopka, FL.; Son: Allen Joseph Schmidt & Stacy of Apopka, FL.; Daughter: Pamela Wilson & special friend Rick Coleman of Altamonte Springs, FL.; Brothers: Hubert Day & Patricia of Somerset, KY. and Billy "Chigger" Day & Pamela of Wooton, KY.; Sister: Ina Coots of Science Hill, KY.; grandchildren: Dylan Martha Ann, Alexandria Jane and Alexis Renee. A host of treasured nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives & friends also survive. Funeral arrangements for Mrs. Anna L. Schmidt will be conducted on Saturday - July 24, 2010 at the Hurts Creek Church of Christ at 1:00 P.M. with Clayton Baker officiating. Burial will follow the funeral service at the Day Family Cemetery at Wooton, KY. Friends may call for visitation on Saturday from 12:00 Noon until time of funeral at 1:00 P.M. at the church.
