The Obituary for Denver Brock Officiating Ministers: Keith Coldiron, Ted Brock, Camie "Bo" Caldwell, Roscoe Asher, & Denver Brock Mr. Denver Brock born January 1, 1931 departed this life on April 6, 2010 at the age of 79 years. He was born at Helton, Kentucky the son of the late James Brock and the late Ammeanne Whitehead Brock. By occupation he was a logger and coal miner and had been a life-long resident of Leslie County, Kentucky. Denver enjoyed gardening, tractors, horses, mules and riding his wagon. He was a member of the Dry Fork Church of God. Denver was preceded in death by his parents: James and Ammeanne Brock, infant son: Douglas Brock, brothers: Jr. Brock, Victor Brock, sister: Dorothy Brock. He leaves surviving the following relatives: his loving and devoted wife: Cora Lee Brock, two sons: Denver Ray Brock & Brenda Gail of Helton, KY, Jerry Wayne Brock & Judy of Helton, KY, two daughters: Dorothy Ivey of Berea, KY, Becky Howard & Freddy of Helton, KY, two sisters: Polly B. Duncan of Bledsoe, Ky Effie Brock of Bledsoe, Ky, eight grandchildren: Jenny Baker & Shannon, Kelly Brock & Jennifer, Carrie Cope, Margaret Hensley, Ashley Brock, Skyler Brock, Mannie Ivey, Amanda Marie Napier, four great grandchildren; Samantha Baker, Dalton Baker, Curtis Ivey and Andy Hensley. Denver is also survived by a host of other treasured relatives and friends. Funeral services for Mr. Denver Brock will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Thursday-April 8, 2010 at the Dwayne Walker Funeral Home Chapel with Keith Coldiron, Ted Brock, Camie "Bo" Caldwell, Roscoe Asher and Denver Brock officiating. Burial will follow in the Brock Cemetery located at Helton, Kentucky. Friends may call for visitation beginning at 6:00 p.m Wednesday-April 7, 2010 at the funeral home chapel.
