Robert Lee Hacker Mr. Homer Pennington born April 3, 1940 departed this life on January 28, 2010 at the age of 69 years, 9 months and 25 days old. He was born at Hoskinston, Kentucky the son of the late Lee Pennington and the late Ollie Joseph Pennington. By occupation Homer was a retired Coal Miner and had been a life-long resident of Leslie County, Kentucky. He enjoyed hunting and fishing as hobbies and was affiliated with the Greasy Creek Full Gospel Holiness Church. Mr. Homer Pennington was preceded in death by his parents: Lee and Ollie Pennington, four brothers: Elisha, George, Hamp and Elmer, one sister: Eva Mosley and by one Infant Sister. He leaves surviving the following relatives: brother:Denver Pennington and wife Margaret of Hoskinston, Ky, sisters: Shirley Pennington of Ohio, and Rose Mary Pennington of Ohio. Homer also leaves surviving a host of nieces, nephews, cousin and other relatives and friends. Funeral services for Mr. Homer Pennington will be at 1:00 P.M. Sunday-January 31, 2010 at the Greasy Creek Full Gospel Holiness Church at Hoskinston, KY with Rev. David Pennington and Rev. Robert Lee Hacker officiating. Burial will follow in the Hacker Cemetery located at Hoskisnton (Round Hole), Kentucky under the direction of the Dwayne Walker Funeral Home Staff.
