Denver Brock Mr. David Holland born January 6, 1946 departed this life on March 31, 2008 at the age of 62 years,2 months and 25 days old. He was born at Warbranch, Kentucky the son of the late Caleb Holland and Virginia Napier Holland. By occupation he was a Coal Miner and Logger and had been a life-long resident of Leslie County, Kentucky.Mr. David Holland was affiliated with the Lower Middlefork Pentecostal Church at Asher, Kentucky. Some of his hobbies included gardening and working with bees. David was preceded in death by his father: Caleb Holland, he leaves surviving the following relatives: Mother: Virginia Napier Holland of Asher, KY. Mother of Children: Omeda Whitehead Holland of Asher, KY. Three Sons: David Boone Hall & Irene of Middlesboro, KY Caleb Holland & Rhonda of Lexington, KY. David William Holland & Shawna of Asher, KY. Daughter: Amy Holland Asher & Freddie of Warbranch, KY Two Brothers: Marcus Holland of Warbranch, KY. William Holland of Asher, KY. Two Sisters: Oma Sue Nantz of Tenn. Evelyn Marie Brock of Warbranch, KY. Also survived by 16 grandchildren, a host of great grandchildren and other relatives and friends. Funeral services for Mr. David Holland will be held at 1:00 p.m. Friday-April 4, 2008 at the Lower Middlefork Pentecostal Church at Asher, KY., with Rev. Eugene Roberts and Rev. Denver Brock officiating. Burial will follow in the Rye Cove Cemetery located at Warbranch, KY under the direction of the Dwayne Walker Funeral Home Staff. Visitation will begin at 6:00 p.m. Wednesday- April 2, 2008 at the Dwayne Walker Funeral Home Chapel at Hyden, KY., then continue at 5:00 p.m. Thursday at the church until time of funeral on Friday.
