The Obituary of Mr. Oscar Sizemore Officiating Minster: Ronnie Collins Mr. Oscar Sizemore was born on February 25, 1922 in Hyden, KY. and departed this life on November 21, 2012 at the River's Bend Health Care, LLC. in South Point, OH. He was 90 years of age at the time of his passing. Oscar was the Son of the late Bradley Sizemore and the late Vina "Doll" Wilder Sizemore. By occupation he was a retired Coal Miner. Oscar was a lifelong resident of Leslie County with the exception of living in South Point, OH. for the last 3 months. He was Preceded in Death by: his Parents: Bradley Sizemore & Doll Wilder; Wife: Alice Sizemore; Step-Sons: Lincoln Sizemore, Brack Sizemore, Sisters; Zilpha Asher, Essie Asher, Cassie Stacy, Brothers: Lige Sizemore & Pleasie Sizemore. Oscar leaves the following relatives surviving: Son: Woodson Sizemore & Wanda of Chesapeake, OH.; Step-Sons: Robert Sizemore & Shirley of TN. and Steve Gibson & Lois of Hyden, KY.; 27 Grandchildren and a host of Great Grandchildren and Great-Great Grandchildren & other treasured nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. Funeral services for Mr. Oscar Sizemore will be conducted on Saturday ~ Nov. 24, 2012 at 1:00 P.M. at the Dwayne Walker Funeral Home with Ronnie Collins officiating. Burial will follow in the Collins Cemetery in Hyden, KY. Visitation will be on Saturday from 11:00 A.M. until time of funeral service at the funeral home.
