He was also a veteran of the U.S. Army Desert Storm. His hobbies included fishing and being outdoors. He was also affiliated with the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ at Yeaddiss, KY. He was preceded in death by his mother; paternal grandparents: James H. & Susan Clark Coots; and his maternal grandparents: Roberts Buckles & Betty. He leaves surviving the following relatives: father: Donald Coots and step-mother Lori Coots of London, Ky., wife: Faye Coots of LaFayette, TN; three sons: Steven Coots, Travis Coots, and Robert Coots all of LaFayette, TN; one daughter: Christan Coots of LaFayette, TN; one brother: James Coots of Corbin, KY; one step-sister: Michelle McCullough of London; one step-brother: Chris Mize of London; two grandchildren: Peyton Coots and Jeremiah Coots; special aunt and unlce: Betty & Dario Fiqueroa of Berea, KY. A host of other relatives and friends survives. Funeral services for Mr. Robert Coots will be held at the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ at Yeaddiss, KY on February 20, 2009 at 1:00 p.m.with Rev. Donald Kilburn officiating. Visitation will begin at 12:00 noon Friday, February 20, 2009 at the church. The interment will take place at the James H.
