The Obituary for Pearl Irene Jones Officiating Ministers: Mike Smith & Jerry Holland Pearl Irene Jones was born on July 2, 1928 at Hoskinston, Kentucky, the daughter of the late Elmer & Mary Morgan. She passed away on Tuesday, September 14, 2010 at the Hazard ARH Medical Center, in Hazard, Ky. at the age of 82 years, 2 months & 12 days. Pearl had been a life-long resident of Leslie & Perry Co. By occupation she was a retired school teacher for the Leslie Co. Board of Education. She was a member of the Maple Street Church of God in Hazard, she enjoyed sewing & taking care of her dogs. Pearl Irene Jones was preceded in death by her parents, her husband: Ernest Jones & 3 brothers: Jeff, Vick & Wycliffe Morgan. She leaves the following relatives surviving: one step-son: Wade Napier of Ohio, one daughter: Mary Lou Hounshell of Hazard, KY., two brothers: Larry Morgan & Debbie of Stinnett, Ky. & Raz Morgan one sister: Hilda Cartee of Stinnett, KY. 1 granddaughter: Becky, 1 grandson: Jonathan, 1 granddaughter-in-law: Kendra, a host of step-grandchildren & special friend: Pat Oliver. Funeral service for Pearl Irene Jones will be conducted on Saturday, September 18, 2010 @ 2:00 P.M. at the Dwayne Walker Funeral Home Chapel, Hyden, KY., with Mike Smith & Jerry Holland officiating. Burial will follow in the Jones Cemetery (Holland's Fork Rd.), Bearbranch, KY. The following will serve as Pallbearers: Phillip Larry Mosley, Jr., Jonathan Hounshell, Keith Napier, Ralph Bowser and Joey Holland.
