The Obituary of Mr. Johnny Kilburn Officiating Minister: Rev. Billy Joe Lewis Mr. Johnny Kilburn was born on April 30, 1937 and departed this life on May 17, 2008 at the Mary Breckinridge Hosptial, Hyden, Ky. He was 71 years and 17 days of age at the time of his passing. Johnny was born at Yeaddiss, Ky., the son of the late Gordon Kilburn & Lola Collins. He was a retired coal miner & was affiliated with the Full Gospel Church of Jesus Christ, Smilax, Ky. Johnny enjoyed four-wheeler riding, fishing, gardening, attending Cutshin Senior Citizens, watching football & basketball, but most of all he enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren. Johnny was a life-long resident of Leslie Co., living at 1262 Mudlick Road, Yeaddiss, Ky. at the time of his death. Johnny was preceded in death by his Parents: Gordon Kilburn & Lola Collins Kilburn; two Brothers: Odas Kilburn and Bethel Kilburn; three Sisters: Rose Kilburn Bailey, Vonda Kilburn, Ollie Kilburn Bentley; one Niece: Debbie Cornett Bailey & one nephew: Jimmy Kilburn. Mr. Johnny Kilburn leaves the following relatives surviving: Wife: Bonnie Jean Coots Kilburn of Yeaddiss, Ky.; one Son: Ronnie Maggard & Patty of Hyden, Ky.; one Daughter: Melissa Kilburn Mitchell and David, of Yeaddiss, Ky.; two Brothers: Ernest Kilburn & James Kilburn of Yeaddiss, KY.; four Sisters: Mollie Couch of Yeaddiss, Ky., Dorothy Patrick of Stanton,Ky., Delphia Cress of Delphia, Ky., Shirley Kilburn of Yeaddiss, Ky., four grandchildren: Amanda Maggard, Paige Maggard, Haley Mitchell, Hannah Mitchell, two faithful friends, his dogs, Nikki & Casey, along with a host of treasured nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends to mourn his death. The funeral for Mr. Johnny Kilburn will be conducted 1:00 P.M. - Tuesday, May 20, 2008 at the Full Gospel Church of Jesus Christ, Smilax, Ky., with Rev. Billy Joe Lewis officiating. The interment will follow in the Full Gospel Church Cemetery, Smilax, Ky. under the direction of the Dwayne Walker Funeral Home Staff.
