Amos Hamblin Mr.Jeffrey Alan Hacker was born on October 2, 1967 in Hyden, KY. and departed this life on December 2, 2010 at the Hazard ARH in Hazard, KY. He was 43 years of age at the time of his passing. He was the son of Jack Hacker and the late Claretta Begley Maggard. He had been a lifelong resident of Leslie County. By occupation he was a coal miner for Blue Diamond Coal (James River). He enjoyed four wheeling, basketball, water - skiing, & most importantly being involved in the lives of his family, especially his granddaughter, Alexis. He was affiliated with the Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by: His Mother: Claretta Begley Maggard; one son: Derek Scott Hacker ;Paternal Grandparents: Scott & Maggie Bailey Hacker& Maternal Grandmother: Norma Jean Begley. Mr. Jeffrey Alan Hacker leaves the following relatives surviving: Father: Jack Hacker of Wooton, KY.; Daughter: Jacquelyn Hacker & Dwayne Johnson of Wooton, KY.; Maternal Grandparents: Everett Begley & Lois of Hyden, Ky., Brother: Brian Scott Hacker of Wooton, Ky., Sister: Maggie Paige Hacker of Wooton, Ky., Granddaughter: Alexis Johnson of Wooton, Ky. Funeral services for Mr. Jeffrey Alan Hacker will be conducted at 11:00 A.M. - Sunday - December 5, 2010 at the Dwayne Walker Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Ronnie Melton and Rev. Amos Hamblin officiating. The interment will follow the funeral services at the Hacker Family Cemetery at Shoal, KY.
