Mr. Robert Morgan born April 18, 1930 departed this life on March 18, 2010 at the age of 79 years. He was born at Hyden, Kentucky the son of the late Robert Morgan and the late Elva Mosley Morgan. By occupation he was a Heavy Equipment Diesel Mechanic and had been a U.S. Army Veteran. Mr. Robert Morgan enjoyed Inventing, gardening,Mechanic work, and ATV riding. He was a member of the Baptist Church and had been a resident of Leslie County for the past 30 years having moved here from Cincinnati, OH. He was preceded in death by his parents: Robert and Elva Morgan, and wife: Sadie Wells Morgan. He leaves surviving the following relatives, two sons: Bobby Morgan & Barbara of Smilax, KY, Rick Morgan & Tracy of Cattlesburg, KY; one brother; Harold Morgan of Florida, two sisters: Virginia Asher of Florida and Geraldine Campbell of Hazard, Ky, five grandchildren; Crystal Morgan, Mindy Morgan, Nathaniel Asher, Angela Morgan and Ali Huber Morgan. Mr. Robert Morgan is also survived by a host of other treasured relatives and friends. Funeral services for Mr. Robert Morgan will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. - Monday - March 22, 2010 at the Engle-Walker Perry Chapel at 320 Morton Blvd. Hazard, KY. with Sam Fields and Danny Day officiating. Burial will follow in the Albert Wells Family Cemetery located at Smilax, Ky. with full military Rites observed by the Leslie County DAV Chapter #133. Friends may call for visitation beginning at 5:00 p.m. Sunday - March 21, 2010 at the Engle-Walker Perry Chapel at Hazard, KY.
