The obituary of Mr. Charles Randall "Randy" Combs Officiating Minister: Heath Sherman Mr. Charles Randall Combs born on March 23, 1941 departed this life on July 5, 2008 at the age 67 years, 3 months and 12 days old. He was born at Hazard, Kentucky the son of the late Bailey Combs and the late Mary Ethel Cranon Combs. By occupation he was a retired coal miner having worked at Whitaker Coal Company. Randy had been a resident of Leslie County since 1963having moved here from Perry County. Some of his hobbies included: motorcycle riding and repair, C.B Radio Repair, running and walking and his very favorite past time, taking care of his grandkids. Randy was preceded in death by his parents: Bailey & Mary Ethel Combs; one son: Robert Maggard. He leaves surviving the following relatives, wife: Bennita Hensley Combs of Wooton, KY; two sons: Jerry Don Combs of Hyden, KY, Timothy Randall Combs of Wooton, KY, one daughter: Sherry Sherman & Wendell of Wooton, KY, two brothers: Donnie Combs & Faye of Cincinnati, OH, David Combs & Inga of Columbus, OH, one sister: Linda Plowman & Aaron of Hazard, KY, six grandchildren: Shelley Watts, Ginger Royster, Madisyn Combs, Robert Maggard, Brian Maggard , Krista Stidham, six great grandchildren: Victoria Watts, Cassidy Watts, Kaden Watts, Jayleigh Watts, Hailey Royster and Emmaleigh Collins. Randy is also survivied by a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral services for Mr. Charles Randall Combs will be conducted at 11:00 A.M.-Tuesday-July 8, 2008 at the Dwayne Walker Funeral Home Chapel-Hyden, KY with Heath Sherman officiating. Burial will follow in the Combs Family Cemetery at Wooton, KY. Visitation will be held at 6:00 p.m.-Monday- July 7, 2008 at the funeral home chapel.
