The Obituary of Mrs. Marion Lois Barger Officiating Minister: Rev. Ronnie Melton Mrs. Marion Lois Barger born December 13, 1937 departed this life on October 7, 2008 at the Hyden Manor Nursing Home, Hyden, Ky. She was 70 years, 9 months, & 28 days old. Lois was born at Hyden, Ky., the daughter of the late Robert Morgan & Hazel Hensley Morgan. Lois was a homemaker & faithful member of the Muncy Creek Baptist Church, Hyden, Ky. She enjoyed quilting, sewing, gardening, & most of all being a loving & caring mother & grandmother--taking care of her family. Lois was preceded in death by her husband to whom she was a devoted wife for 47 years, Lee Barger, her parents:Robert Morgan & Hazel Hensley Morgan, one son: McKinley Robert Barger, one sister: Leona Morgan Bentley, & step-mother: Bernice Hoskins. Mrs. Marion Lois Barger leaves the following relatives surviving: two devoted sons: Samuel " Butch" Barger and wife, Virginia Lee Barger of Hyden, Ky., Hemmer "Fuzzy" and wife, Paula Barger of Hyden,Ky., three brothers: Brown Morgan and wife, Betty of Connersville, Indiana, Hemmer Morgan and wife, Phyllis, of Connersville, Indiana, Mark Morgan and wife, Sue, of Dayton, Ohio, two sisters: Oda Ruth Minton and husband, John, of Connersville, Indiana, Rowena Barger and husband, Hubert, of Hyden, Ky.,two step-brothers: Alson Collett of Hyden, Ky., Warren Collett of London, Ky., five loving grandchildren: Crystal Lee Barge Fields and husband, Brandon, Samuel Lee Barger II and Lisa, Tiffany Christine Marie Barger, Robert Troy Barger, Brianna Lois Jean Barger, one great grandchild due to arrive in this world in the following weeks, several treasured nieces & nephews who loved and cared for Lois as her own, a special family caretaker who devoted their time in caring for Lois throughout the last several years: Greg. Stacey, Emily, and Allison Collett& a host of other relatives and friends survive to mourn her death. Lois will be greatly missed by those who knew and loved her. The funeral service for Mrs. Marion Lois Barger will be conducted 11:00 a.m. - Friday, October 10, 2008 at the Dwayne Walker Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Ronnie Melton officiating. The interment will follow in the Bentley - Barger Family Cemetery, Hyden, Ky., under the direction of the Dwayne Walker Funeral Home Staff.
