John H. was born at Cutshin, Ky., the son of the late, Lilly Adams & Polly Coots Adams. He had been a resident of Bromley, Ky. for the past 32 years, prior to living in Perry & Leslie Co. By occupation he was a retired coal miner. John H. enjoyed gardening & wood-crafting. John H. Adams was preceded in death by his parents, his wife: Addie Adams & one daughter: Patsy Ann Mitchell. He leaves the following relatives surviving: two sons: Doug Adams & Brenda of Brumley, Ky. & Greg Adams of Bromley, Ky., two daughters: Debbie McCowan & Clayton of Williamstown, Ky.& Paula Winston & Chuck of Demossville, Ky., one brother: Woody Adams of Somerset, Ky., 12 grandchildren, 15 great- grandchildren & 1 great-great-grandchild. Funeral service for John H. Adams will be conducted by the Dwayne Walker Funeral Home on Thursday, May 28, 2009 at 1:00 P.M. at the Big Fork Church of God at Yeaddiss, Ky., with Whilmer Mitchell officiating. Burial will follow in the Adams Cemetery at Yeaddiss, Ky. Visitation will begin on Thursday, May 28, 2009 beginning at 10:00 A.M. until time of the funeral.
