She was 92 years old. Katherine was born in the Pine Mountain Section of Leslie Co., the daughter of the late Israel Miniard & Rhoda Harris. Katherine was a farmer & a life-long resident of Leslie Co., living in the Big Rock Section of Yeaddiss, Ky. She was affiliated with the Cutshin Church of Christ, Cutshin, Ky., & enjoyed fishing & boat riding as hobbies. Mrs. Katherine Miniard Baker was preceded in death by her parents; her loving and devoted husband: Henry Baker, sisters: Nancy Gava, Jean Albro, Pauline Baker, & brothers: Leon & Joe Miniard. Mrs. Katherine Miniard Baker leaves the following relatives surviving: one son: Henry "Hank" R. Baker, Jr & wife, Gene, of Hendersonville, Tennessee, one daughter: Nola Leonard of Lexington, North Carolina, one brother: James Miniard of Hoskinston, Ky., two sisters: Mellie Wyatt of Cincinnati, Ohio, Ruby Harris of Keavy, Ky., six grandchildren: Joel Antonio Leonard, Lorin James Leonard and wife, Mary, Andre John Leonard and wife, Angela, Cheri Nola Leonard Rabbani & husband, Nabil, Todd Henry Leonard, Timothy Baker Leonard, seven great -grandchildren: Amanda Katherine Leonard and fianc, Tyler Glance, Baker Calhoun Leonard, Waverly Dawn Leonard, Manly Israel Leonard, Silas Dare Leonard, Allison Cheri Nabil Rabbani, Jenna Zahra Nabil Rabbani & a host of other treasured relatives and friends.
