Clemmie Joseph Mrs. Lizzie Joseph Day was born on December 1, 1921 and departed this life on February 28, 2012 at the age of 90 years. She was born at Yeaddiss, Kentucky and was the Daughter of the late Clemmie Joseph and the late Becky Fields Joseph. By occupation she was a homemaker and had been a life-long resident of Leslie County, KY. Lizzie was a member of the Big Fork Church of God and she enjoyed gardening and sewing as hobbies. Mrs. Lizzie Day was preceded in death by her Parents: Clemmie and Becky Joseph; Husband: William Henry "Covie" Day; 4 Sisters: Easter Joseph, Nancy Callahan, Judy Day & Betty Pennington; 3 Brothers: Henry Joseph, Will Joseph & Okey Joseph. She leaves surviving the following relatives: 2 Brothers: Herman Joseph of Yeaddiss, KY. and Estil Joseph of Paris, IN,; 2 Sisters: Katie Reed of Elizabethtown, KY. and Laura Boggs of Yeaddiss, KY.; 1 Niece: Alice Faye Pennington & Ben of Keavy, KY.; 4 Nephews: Charles Ray Day & Mary Ellen of Cattlesburg, KY., Willis Hayes Day & Donna of Yeaddiss, KY., Doug Hendrix & Louise of Peru, IN., Fred Hendrix of Peru, IN.; Special Friends: Mae Boggs, Mae Bowling, Judy Adams, and Margaret Kelly. Lizzie is also survived by a host of other treasured relatives and friends. Funeral services for Mrs. Lizzie Joseph Day will be held at 12 Noon on Friday - March 2, 2012 at the Dwayne Walker Funeral Home with Rev. Tommy Fields and Rev. Clemmie Joseph officiating. Burial will follow in the Day Family Cemetery located at Yeaddiss, KY. The following will serve as Pallbearers: Bill Lewis, Glen "Julio" Boggs, Sherl Kelly, Brandon Smith, Beecher Holland, Allen Smith and Ben Pennington.
