Andrew Farmer Carolyn Morgan Johnson born November 22, 1944 departed this life on August 24, 2008 at the age of 63 years, 9 months and 2 days old. She was born at Hyden, Kentucky the daughter of the late McKinley Morgan and June Lewis Morgan. By occupation she was employed by the Begley Lumber Company and had been a life-long resident of Leslie County, KY. Carolyn Johnson was a member of the Rockhouse Pentecostal Church. She was preceded in death by her parents; McKinley & June Morgan. She leaves surviving the following relatives: two sons: Steve Johnson & Anna of Hyden, KY; Scott Johnson & Linda of Sizerock,. KY; one daughter: Renee Lewis & Greg of London, KY; one grandson whom she raised as her own: Dustin Johnson of Hyden, KY; brother; Johnny morgan of Middletown, OH; sister: Juanita Asher & Chester of Hyden, KY; Father of Children: Owen "Bud" Johnson of OH; seven grandchildren: Dustin, Tyler, Faith, Isaac, Gabriel, Brandon & Allen. Funeral services for Carolyn Morgan Johnson will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday - August 27, 2008 at the Rockhouse Pentecostal Church at Hyden, Kentucky with Rev. Teddy Couch and Rev. Andrew Farmer officiating. Burial will follow in the Laurel Fork Cemetery located at Hyden, Kentucky. Visitation will begin at 6 p.m. Tuesday - August 26, 2008 at the church. The following will serve as pallbearers: Eugene Wilder, Eddie Morgan, Billy Richard Morgan, Tate Begley, P.J. Asher, David Roberts, Allen Dodson, Larry Lewis, & Tracy Smallwood.
