The Obituary of Mr. Jonathan Jeffery Horton Officiating Minsters: Rev. Robbie Horton and Pastor Wayne Bowling Mr. Jonathan Jeffery Horton was born February 18, 1960 and departed this life on January 10, 2012 at the age of 51 years. He was born at Hyden, Kentucky. He was the Son of Johnny Clay Horton and the late Gracie Finley Horton. By occupation he was a coal miner and coal truck driver. Jeff was a member of the Hyden Church of God. He had been a life-long resident of Leslie County, KY., and enjoyed fishing as a hobby. Jeff was preceded in death by his Mother: Gracie Finley Horton. He leaves surviving the following relatives: Father: Johnny C. Horton of Hyden, KY.; Daughters: Marchia Breann Simmons & husband Derek of Richmond, KY., Melinda Rashawn Horton of Bear Branch, KY. and Miranda Williams of Perry County, KY.; Brother: Shawn Horton of Stinnett, KY.; Grandchildren: Mallory Crawford and Jayden Holland. Mr. Jonathan Jeffery Horton is also survived by a host of other treasured relatives and friends. Funeral services for Mr. Jonathan Jeffery Horton will be conducted at 7:30 P.M. Friday, January 13, 2012 with Rev. Robbie Horton and Pastor Wayne Bowling officiating. Friends may call for visitation at 5:00 P.M. Friday, January 13, 2012 all at the Dwayne Walker Funeral Home.
