The Obituary of Mr. Dewey H. Joseph Officiating Ministers: Rev. Alfred Smith & Rev. Tommy Fields Mr. Dewey Joseph was born on December 22, 1962 in Peru, Indiana and passed away on June 21, 2012 at his residence at 20 Carnation Dr. ~ Wooton, KY. He was 49 years of age at the time of his passing. Dewey was the Son of Cinda Lewis Joseph and the late Okey Joseph and the Husband of Darlene Napier Joseph. By occupation Dewey was a Coal Miner & Concrete Finisher. He was a lifelong resident of Leslie County with the exception of living in Peru, Indiana for 7 years. Dewey was a member of the Smith Camp Pentecostal Church ~ Wooton, KY. He was an avid fisherman, loved any sport and loved being involved in the lives of his daughter & granddaughter. He was Preceded in Death by: Father: Okey Joseph and Sister-In-Law: Mary Joseph. Dewey leaves the following relatives surviving: Wife: Darlene Napier Joseph of Wooton, KY.; Mother: Cinda Lewis Joseph of Wooton, KY.; Daughter: Jennifer Emily Joseph of Wooton, KY.; Brothers: Bill Joseph and Jerry Joseph & Vickie both of Wooton, KY.; Sister: Sherry Jones & Jeff of Yeaddiss, KY.; Granddaughter: Kaidison Smith; Special Aunt: Vernell Lewis; Special Nephews: Casey Jones, Brian Joseph, J.C. Sebastian and Michael Brewer. Special Friend: Glennon Smith; A host of treasured nieces & nephews also survive. Funeral services for Mr. Dewey H. Joseph will be conducted on Sunday ~ June 24, 2012 at 1:00 P.M. at the Dwayne Walker Funeral Home ~ Hyden, KY. with Rev. Alfred Smith & Rev. Tommy Fields officiating. Burial will follow in the Lewis~Boggs Cemetery in Yeaddiss, KY. The following will serve as Pallbearers: Casey Jones, Brian Joseph, Glennon Smith, Brandon Fields, Warner Day, Justin Melton, Michael Brewer, Andrew Stidham and C.J. Sebastian.
