Makynli leaves the following relatives surviving: parents: Harry Day & Amber Lewis of Corbin, KY.; maternal grandparents: Covey Lewis & Krista Hamrick of Chappell, KY. and Leslie Sams of Hyden, KY.; paternal grandparents: Harry & Janice Slone of Corbin, KY.; maternal great-grandmother: Karen Lewis of Corbin, KY. and Donya Cornett of Hyden, KY.; great-grandparents: Grace Cornett of Hyden, KY.; one sister: Kendallyn Lewis of Corbin, KY.; four aunts: Emily Lewis of Corbin, KY., Teri Bussiere & Peter of Corbin, KY., Alexis Henson of Hyden, KY. and Ashley Sams of Hyden, KY. A host of other relatives and friends also survive. Funeral services for Makynli Jean Lewis will be conducted on Friday, September 11, 2009 at 1:00 P.M. at the Dwayne Walker Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in the Estridge Family Cemetery in Chappell, KY. Visitation will begin at 6:00 P.M. Thursday, September 10, 2009 at the funeral home.
